About Me
I founded William B Davies Counselling with one clear aim: to make professional counselling support more human and more responsive to individual needs.
My way of working is calm, collaborative, and compassionate. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and adapt to the person, ensuring support is tailored to your needs.
Sessions are a place to slow down, without fear of shame or judgement, and to explore both present concerns and longer-standing patterns — including how experiences, relationships, and expectations may have shaped the way you relate to yourself and others. My role is to offer a reliable therapeutic relationship where difficult experiences can be spoken about openly and taken seriously.
I place particular emphasis on creating a space that feels steady, supportive, and psychologically safe. This is not about judgement or quick solutions, but about developing insight, emotional resilience, and healthier, more sustainable ways of living — both within yourself and in your relationships.
My focus is always the same: helping you feel seen, supported, and better equipped to understand and manage whatever you’re going through.
I am a fully qualified, BACP-registered counsellor with extensive experience working with individuals and couples.
